Looks like it is going to be Pasta Sauce today!!!!

Dear Sébastien,
Again it as been a long time and I am sorry for that!  Although summer is a very busy time in the garden and I am now beginning to see the fruits of my labour.
This basket came from 1 plant today!!!

But just for good measure there were a few more!!!!

Beautiful ripe tomatoes straight from the garden

So it looks like I will be busy in the kitchen today aswell as the garden.

Here are some red onions I have grown

Put these together, with a few herbs and roasted in the oven slowly, for a few hours and voila! A beautiful fresh pasta sauce!!!

There is nothing better to have in the fridge or freezer than alot of lovely fresh tomato sauce.
I use it in chilli's, curries and lots of pasta meals.

Oh and one last thing I picked up another 1 euro bargain at the weekend....................

A cast iron Le Creuset pan for 1 euro amazing

Remember Sébastien daddy loves you and I will write again soon

Bees, Bugs and Butterflies

Dear Sébastien,
sorry it as been a long time since my last post but I had a problem with my computer.
We are now into summer and the bees and other insects are busy at work.  They are collecting pollen which will help to polinate my flowers and vegetables.  This makes them grow more and more lovely things.  Here are some of the lovelys doing there thing.

Ladybirds eat the nasty bugs and are always welcome in the garden

Like bees, butterflies help pollinate the garden

I hope you liked those photos and seeing what is happening in the garden.
We need to help bees as much as possible.  They make lovely honey and help our gardens grow.  I want to make some bee boxes soon.
Will write again soon
