Hello son, sorry it as been a little while since the last letter. Grandma and Grandad have been here on holiday and they have been really busy.
For a really long time now, the wall alongside the garden has been just a bunch of weeds. Grandma had an idea to change that and worked really hard to create a new looking wall........
You can see in this picture, how the wall used to look. It was full of weeds and brambles and not very pretty.
Grandma and Grandad spent a lot of days clearing the weeds and stones from the top of the wall..................................

All the weeds were dug out and new soil added |

| Then grandma bought some nice plants |
 |
| That will like to live in the wall |
 |
| They will grow into lovely flowers |
 |
| and become a beautiful thing to see looking up the lane |
 |
With all there hard work, after they finished they had to have a little snooze.
